COLLECTIONS

The Library offers a diverse collection of print books, digital media, audiobooks, and specialized materials like large print and Spanish-language books to serve the entire community. We prioritize accessibility and inclusivity, reflecting the interests and needs of our patrons. This year, thanks to the Texas Book Festival Library Enhancement Grant, we added $2,500 in new English and Spanish board books for our youngest readers. With expanded digital resources, STEAM kits, and targeted programming, the Library continues to support learning, personal growth, and community goals in Farmers Branch.

The book selection is very good, with a regular selection of new releases. I also enjoy the view out of the north windows with the pond. The building is quiet, comfortable, and it is a very relaxing place to read. I also appreciate the electric vehicle chargers in the parking lot.”

Summer Reading

This summer, the Library invited patrons of all ages to embark on an epic journey with ‘Adventure Begins at Your Library!’ Participants collected badges and entries for our grand prize drawings by diving into books, enjoying movies, and attending programs.
